Questions about readings

A little orientation, then room to begin.

There is no examination to pass before meeting the cards. These answers cover the choices you will encounter and the room you have to make a reading your own.

Before you begin

Do I need to know tarot or have a physical deck?

No. The website supplies the 22 cards and their meanings. You can begin with curiosity and a moment from your experience. A physical deck is optional.

What sort of question can I bring?

A moment you can describe often gives you somewhere useful to start: a new partnership, the pressure after an error, a good rally you want to understand. You can also arrive without a precise question. Approach a reading offers a few ways in.

Can I keep my question private?

Yes. Your question stays in your mind; the website has no box for its words. Choose “Something else is asking” if you prefer not to select a category. The shared draw also has no question field. If you use your own AI assistant, you choose what to share with that separate service.

Meeting the cards

Why three cards? Do their positions mean anything?

The three form a constellation. They have no fixed past, present or future positions, and the first card does not carry more authority. Notice how their meanings meet, support or complicate one another.

What do Light, Shadow and Both mean?

Light considers where a card’s energy helps or opens. Shadow considers where it becomes blocked, narrowed, overused or refused. Both gives room to their coexistence. These choices concern the situation, rather than grading your character. Both is a complete choice in its own right.

Can I change an expression after choosing it?

Yes. Use the available expression choices to revisit the same cards. In the shared draw, the meanings update while your cards stay in place. A different expression can be a way to examine another possibility.

Are upside-down cards read differently?

There are no reversed-card meanings in this experience. Light, Shadow or Both supplies the lens for each card.

Making sense of an encounter

What if the reading does not fit?

You can disagree. Notice which words miss your experience, consider another angle, or leave the encounter there. A memorable image can still be unhelpful for the situation you brought.

Will it predict a match or tell me what my partner thinks?

The reading is symbolic reflection. It does not establish a future result or another person’s hidden motives. Bring any interpretation back to what you have observed and what you can choose or ask.

Can I read with someone else?

Yes. Agree whose question you are exploring, give each person room to respond, and use the shared draw if you want to make the connections yourselves. With another person offers conversation guidance.

Returning and sharing

Can I keep a completed website reading?

Your last completed reading stays available in this browser tab while you explore. Use “Return to reading” to return to the same cards, choices and interpretation. To keep the reading for later or open it on another device, use “Share the constellation” in the completed reading and save the link.

Starting another reading begins a fresh draw. The shared draw is a separate, temporary conversation space; it does not create a saved website reading.

Should I keep drawing until the answer is clearer?

You can return when your question or perspective has changed. If you are drawing repeatedly for reassurance, give the first encounter time in ordinary life. After a reading offers ways to carry something back to play.

Where can I learn more about a card?

Follow its card-page link for a fuller encounter, or enter Stories to explore the Arcana, their Tales and Beyond the Glass. The AI prompt also asks your assistant to include those links within its responses.

You can begin before everything is explained. The reading leaves room for what you discover yourself.
